OK, so i've gone and done it and joined the blogging revolution! Now the new website is starting to take shape (www.mattdarlington.co.uk) I thought it only prudent to start dropping new snippets in somewhere so everyone can keep abreast of whats going on. Keep an eye on this section as I announce new clients, existing rebrands, what the company is up to and any other random things to mention!
Of course, talking of rebrands, the company has gone through one of sorts itself, although technically its a new one altogether. Regrettably, the Quantum Monkey has been put down, laid to rest, and his new protege released into the wild - me! Thankfully the Quantum Monkey taught me lots of knowledgeable things before passing to the better side, so it should be nothing other than an improvement from now on.

I originally started web design back in 2005 when my long standing best friend and I decided we could knock up a website for my other job as a little side earner and a bit of a laugh. As it turns out we were quite handy at it, and beat off competition from some large design agencies to provide the website which was used for 2 years before another rebrand! Oracle Web Solutions was born and became very busy in a very short space of time, taking in all sorts of clients, from small local sporting clubs, to National travel agents and International service providers. A brush with a large IT database company in America over the use of the word Oracle in our name, meant a rebrand was necessary and Quantum Monkey was born. Now in its 3rd incarnation, I'm going back to basics and essentially, this is me.
