Recently, Flintshire Stop Smoking (I'm sure you can guess what their forte is!) contacted me to ask whether I could produce 3 separate very simple one page forms for enquiries and data collection, as they were running a promotion the following week in the local press.

Although the timescales were extremely tight, given the focus was not on presentation but on functionality, we managed to sneak it in just before the magazines and newspaper publishing deadlines and provide a platform for Flintshire Stop Smoking to contact the masses and collate the responses on email.

Even more importantly, the sites will indirectly help these poor souls kick the filthy habit, in the process adding an extra 10 years to their lives and saving enough money to buy a replacement lung.

OK, so i've gone and done it and joined the blogging revolution! Now the new website is starting to take shape (www.mattdarlington.co.uk) I thought it only prudent to start dropping new snippets in somewhere so everyone can keep abreast of whats going on. Keep an eye on this section as I announce new clients, existing rebrands, what the company is up to and any other random things to mention!

Of course, talking of rebrands, the company has gone through one of sorts itself, although technically its a new one altogether. Regrettably, the Quantum Monkey has been put down, laid to rest, and his new protege released into the wild - me! Thankfully the Quantum Monkey taught me lots of knowledgeable things before passing to the better side, so it should be nothing other than an improvement from now on.
